Meet The Team

Gregg MacInnis, CKA, is a recognized financial educator, author, speaker, and Retirement Income Specialist. He is the co-author of “Retire Abundantly: The Proven Principles to Create a Worry-Free Retirement with Less Stress.” Gregg has been interviewed on Business Icons by Kevin Harrington, one of the original Sharks from ABC’s television show, “Shark Tank.”

MacInnis, who has been helping people with their money since 1989, is the creator of “The Gmac Family Experience” and is the founder and president of Gmac Family Financial and Whitestone Wealth Advisors. Gregg and his team help executives, professionals, and business owners enhance their lifestyles in retirement and leave a legacy to their families and the causes they care deeply about.

As a passionate marathon runner and certified running coach, Gregg, whose running nickname has always been “Gmac,” knows that enjoying a retirement of peace, freedom, and security is like running a marathon. His passion is to help his clients achieve financial stability and a retirement income they won’t outlive, so they can not only win the retirement race but enjoy the run.

Gregg likes to spend his free time hunting, running, and traveling with his wife, Janet. They have two twin daughters, Amber and Rachel, and a son, Mitchell.

Laura joined Gmac Family Financial part-time for one hour a day on August 15, 2018. Then, a few months later, she was working about three hours a day. Almost a year later, she was hired full-time as Gregg’s Executive Assistant. During her time as a part-time employee, she kept praying to God, “What do I do? I need more work hours.” And every time, God would say, “Be still and know that I am God.” She listened, and in August of 2023, Laura will be celebrating five years with Gmac, with her four year anniversary as a full-time employee following in September!

She has one 16-year-old son, James, who will be a senior in high school next year. She and James love playing cards and board games and worshiping together in church. One of her favorite things about Gmac is meeting new people and offering them coffee, and she loves making people feel right at home in the office.
